Flowers Community Living is an agency comprised of a day program, group homes, host homes, respite services, nursing equipment, and nursing services. The population that is being served are adults with developmental disabilities in the metro-Atlanta area (mostly Dekalb and Gwinnett County). The administration responsibilities may be carried out in the office in Conyers, GA. This position requires the assistant to make visits to the service sites and spending a considerable amount of time in the office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
  • Handle multiple projects
  • Develop reports
  • Monitor staff in day program, group home, and community settings
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient
