Microsoft confirms 1,500 job expansion in Midtown, will occupy new project at Atlantic Station

Microsoft Corp. will open a new office in Atlanta, a $75 million investment that will create 1,500 jobs, the company said in a joint announcement with city and state officials. Microsoft is putting the technology unit in Midtown, where it will focus on artificial intelligence and cloud services. The office is expected to open in the summer of 2021.
