The Enterprise Data Solutions (EDS) team is looking for a Data Architect in Atlanta. This role is critical for the continuous development of an Integrated data ecosystem to support T-Mobile’s growth initiatives. This position will perform detailed design and will work with development teams and business users through enterprise projects and strategic initiatives. The EDS team supports various business areas including Finance, Marketing, Digital, Care and Supply Chain.

Work with business teams and Product Managers to understand business requirements
Standardize and perform data profiling using industry standard data profiling tools and SQL.
Architect, design, and build enterprise class relational and dimensional data models.
Creates scalable, extensible designs that are easy to implement and perform and follows architecture standards.
Design to support data streaming data, batch, real-time events and messages
Stay abreast of information management trends and standards, master data management, data services, self-service business intelligence, metadata management, data quality, and data governance.
RESTful API design to support data ingestion through events and messages.
Design Big Data platforms on-premise and on cloud platforms
Prepare visual diagrams of system architecture, functionality, and process flows.
Develop proofs-of-concept and prototypes to help illustrate approaches to technology and business problems
Serve as a technical resource for business teams to help define, and propose solutions for business opportunities
Communicates clearly through multiple modes of communication

Qualifications
Qualifications
Minimum Required
Minimum 3 years of progressive Data Architecture experience.
Experience in at least one RDBMS – Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server
Experience in at least one of the Data modeling tools – Erwin, Power Designer, or others
Enterprise Data Warehouse design experience
Experience with at least one of the industry standard ETL Tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), etc.
Experience with Big Data platforms such as Hadoop, AWS and / or Azure ADLS
Strong SQL knowledge and ability to write and understand complex SQL
1-2 year of experience in AWS and / or Azure
Experience creating logical and physical data models based on the business reporting requirements
1+ year experience with designing RESTful API

Desired
B.S. Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience.
Certifications in Teradata, Azure
Programming experience in Java or C# or Python
Experience in Telecom

Education
Minimum Required
Bachelor’s Degree
