Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

The Designer position is responsible for creating and updating quick-serve restaurant marketing material as directed to support print executions. This role adheres to and promotes pep’s quick serve restaurant Client’s values by performing respective duties in a manner that supports and contributes to the achievement of the Client’s marketing goals.

Essential Functions:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Creates and maintains quick-serve restaurant promotional material design, in a timely and accurate manner. This includes direct mail pieces, coupon offers, and other items as requested
  • Creates unique versions (such as custom coupon offers that vary from the original version) of quick-serve restaurant promotional material as directed by Client and pep team
  • Follows file sharing best practices as files are shared between client, pep, and partners
  • Serves as liaison between pep IT team and pep account team as related to creative files and process
  • Develops client communication related to upcoming executions
  • Responsible for managing content on client’s internal marketing material ordering site
  • Creates and maintains a library of promotional images and coupon offers for the assigned Client
  • Supports the pep team along with the Client for any graphic design needs
  • Reviews printer proofs of designed items before they print and provides final print approval
  • Catalogs and files all materials in a logical and easily accessible manner; ensures they are continuously up to date. This includes to posting all final creative to designated site
  • Assists pep team with other client requests, as directed
  • Completes all tasks within expected deadlines
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associates Degree
  • Proficient in Adobe product suite (specifically Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop)
  • Experience organizing and maintaining files.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
  • Experience with design for food or restaurant (quick-serve) client
