Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Create strategic relationships with buying center business leaders to grow and monetize NCR Payment Solutions’ online business client portfolio. This individual must have a proven track record of success opening new accounts and driving complex solution sales and revenue growth. Virtual Sales Executive will need to align prospects’ vision and requirements with NCR Payment Solutions’ products and services to deliver differentiated customer value. As the strategic advisor to the client, this individual must have an in-depth understanding of the client’s business, goals, and strategies, as well as industry trends and directions.
  • Generate revenue and profit margin for NCR Payment Solutions through the acquisition of new client prospects.
  • Establish a regular cadence of communication with clients at all levels and disciplines by effectively articulating the NCR Payment Solutions’ value.
  • Manage multiple opportunities, concurrently, through various stages of the selling cycle and will identify, execute and close new business following NCR Payment Solutions’ sales process methodology.
  • Understand and execute pipeline, forecasting, and revenue projections.
  • Must be able to work in a virtual team setting to coordinate the appropriate resources to meet varying client requirements. This will include product specialists, solution consultants and implementation/customer service resources to generate new opportunities and greater share of client’s wallet.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of experience in sales and/or business development roles across multiple verticals, with a majority of this time in eCommerce, Hospitality and/or Retail verticals with successful, demonstrated performance against quota for multiple years
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of solution selling. Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships at the buying center level.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Background in card processing, merchant acquiring, and/or an alternative payment is a significant plus
  • Experience in hunting enterprise accounts
  • Prior experience of successfully working in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Travel required: Approximately 30-40%
