Williams Consulting is looking for an exceptionally bright, multi-tasking, and self-motivated Epidemiologist to support our client in Atlanta, Georgia. This individual will be on site at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta post Covid. The Candidate can be placed immediately for this position. A high-level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information within a laboratory research environment is required. Professionalism in dealing with Sr. Researchers, Hospital representatives, and Scientific Support staff inside and outside of the agency is critical.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete tasks and projects quickly, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround and take effective action. The Candidate must possess superior judgment and problem-solving skills and must have an aptitude for prioritization and managing complicated tasks with diplomacy and discretion. The Candidate must have the ability to quickly learn team objectives and adapt to Williams Consulting values and the customer values and vision along with a can-do attitude. Experience with Federal Agencies, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).


  • Ensure completion and submission of all paperwork by corresponding with hospitals, pharmacists, and clinicians
  • File and manage case report forms and associated paperwork for the releases
  • Enter data from the case report forms into a database
  • Monitor clinical call volume– collect data from Malaria Branch on-call staff and the Executive On Call, summarize information into monthly reports to the unit. This data will be used to modify the call schedule as needed
  • Respond to administrative-related inquiries


Epidemiologic experience related to public health methods, including surveillance, and monitoring and evaluating public health programs. The candidate must have experience with data collection, data entry, and data management software. As this position will involve interacting with clinicians and the public, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

  • Three years of research, clinical or laboratory setting
  • Experience coordinating Investigative New Drug (IND) protocols
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to problem solve complex issues
  • Experience balancing multiple projects with strong attention to detail organization and efficient time management
  • Ability to design public health studies
  • Ability to effectively communicate issues
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal interactions
  • Background investigation required
  • Knowledge of public health sciences and research methods
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
