Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Facility Operations Area Lead conduct all activities of a Facility Operations Manager at their home club while assisting up to 5 other clubs in their market. This includes managing budgets, labor costs, national initiatives, and managing staff.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains the monthly and annual department budget
  • Completes monthly financial reports, the operation’s payroll, and ensures labor costs fall within budgetary guidelines
  • Recruits, hires, and provides ongoing training for Operations Team Members through orientation, direction, and feedback
  • Drives national initiatives via routine communication and rolls out said initiatives
  • Oversees maintenance and repair projects of the club, which includes communicating with all departments to monitor cleanliness and equipment condition
  • Ensures staff consistently maintain cleanliness of common areas, maintain the amenities, and build relationships with members
  • Builds positive relationships with members in order to increase member experience and gather club feedback

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years of experience as a Life Time Facility Operations Manager
  • Building operations experience
  • CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
  • Aquatic Facilities Operator (AFO) certification
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license within 6 months of hire
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
