Chenega Professional and Technical Services is seeking a Health Communication Specialist IV to provide comprehensive support for CSELS Surveillance Data Platform (SDP).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop communication materials ready for print or electronic distribution
  • Develop presentations and talking points
  • Develop communication, outreach, and content management plans
  • Produce articles, when needed, for internal audiences
  • Conduct stakeholder engagement and outreach efforts
  • Track successes, engagement, and outreach efforts
  • Provide quality assurance reviews on SharePoint, Wiki, and Website content and make updates
  • Engage with CDC staff at all organizational levels
  • Ensure plain language and 508 compliance standards are upheld across all material development
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Public Health. Masters or other advanced degree in relevant discipline strongly preferred.
  • Prior federal experience a plus.
  • Minimum 6 years’ related experience

  • Ability to problem solve as well as work independently or as a member of a team

  • Demonstrated organizational skills
