Our Locations and Service Areas

We proudly serve patients and families in private homes, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and our care center. We serve 22 counties throughout Tennessee, Georgia and North Carolina. Our home office is in Chattanooga, TN.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Hospice Registered Nurse to join our group of dedicated and experienced professionals in the Atlanta, Georgia Area

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Utilizes all aspects of the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) with appropriate skill to effectively manage the Plan of Care for each patient.

Provides appropriate and pertinent patient education to the patient/family according to the Plan of Care to facilitate optimal patient and family comfort and support in life limiting illness.

Appropriately documents and communicates all required information in accordance with agency policies and procedures, accreditation, regulation, and legal requirements.

Effectively and appropriately delegates specific patient care duties to Nursing Assistants.

Annually continues personal development to enhance practice and profession.

Demonstrates the ability to work independently while managing the care of hospice patients.

Organizes and performs work effectively and efficiently.

Maintains and adjusts schedule to enhance team performance.

Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations in dealing with all members of the team.

Maintains and promotes customer satisfaction.

Effectively demonstrates the mission, vision, and values of Angel Heart Hospice daily.


Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of an approved school of nursing, either through an AD, Diploma or BSN program required.

Current license to practice professional nursing in the State required.

Two years’ nursing experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer at least one-year Home Care or Hospice or related experience
