Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of HR Generalist I. This position is located in Atlanta, GA (Printpack HQ) and reports to the HR Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Business, Social Sciences, related-field)
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist experience
  • Proficient Workday and Microsoft experience
  • Experience facilitating employee relations discussions, conflict management resolutions, investigations and coaching at all levels
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate decision-making skills

Key Responsibilities, not inclusive of all:

  • Implement and maintain the Human Resource Development process, which includes: Job descriptions and analysis, Performance evaluations, Individual development plans, Training, Career development, etc.
  • Participate in employee relations issues, including discipline process, investigations, and coaching
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to drive and monitor recruiting processes for Atlanta and remote locations, including participation in interview panels, and making hiring recommendations on candidates
  • Support the new hire on-boarding process in Workday; Lead new hire orientation and on-boarding process (manage background checks, medical assessments, etc.)
  • Lead benefits administration, including open enrollment, and year-round management of qualifying events
  • Oversee compliance to all corporate policies/procedures, and to all applicable local, state and federal laws as they relate to Human Resources for Atlanta and remote locations
  • Lead various HR related projects, as necessary, including rolling out corporate-wide initiatives and conducting local training classes on HR topics (i.e., Performance Management, Workday, etc.)
  • Act as an HR Business Partner to the various managers located in Atlanta and Sales offices
  • Administrating in-process immigration petitions, and partnering with managers on Visa status updates
  • Administer Social Responsibility programs for the Atlanta location and serve as a primary contact for community resources
