DESCRIPTION

About the Job
The Interpreter Training Manager is responsible for assisting and facilitating the day-to-day running of Interpreter Training: overseeing program operations, supervising Training Coordinator, providing training support, coordinating and scheduling classes and appointments, providing customer service to clients and students, and ensuring that results are sent to clients in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate in person interpreter training courses
  • Work with the Executive Director regarding staffing issues and related concerns
  • Supervision of Training coordinator
  • Ensure a smooth flow of operations assisting clients, students, and teachers
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients
  • Answer interpreter education inquiries both digitally and telephonically
  • Sale of ALTA’s online and in-person course offerings
  • Technical support for in person and online students
  • Perform quality assurance on training offerings
  • Gather data and maintain detailed records
  • Implementation of marketing campaigns
  • Assist in management of national licensee accounts
  • Support trainers with event logistics, including setup and break-down
  • Attend occasional weekend training events
  • Collaborate with team on special projects as needed
  • Manage ongoing development and maintenance of curriculum and course content
  • Other tasks as assigned

Education/Experience

  • A four-year college degree
  • Minimum 2 years administrative experience
Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of sales software

  • Certificate from a 40-hour medical interpreter training course

Salary + bonus plan after 1st year
