Dynamic company seeks an IT Support Technician to embark on a successful career at our Atlanta, GA branch. Working remotely and occasionally reporting to our local branch, the IT Support Technician will service Tier 1 and Tier 2 end user-submitted tickets and phone calls to solve a variety of issues employees may encounter while using computer hardware, peripherals, applications, and mobile devices to do business. As part of a team environment, the IT Support Technician will help support over 1,500 employees across a 13-state footprint.


  • Troubleshoots connectivity issues and problems with application functionality, coordinating with vendor support where necessary

  • Troubleshoots issues with computer hardware and peripherals, coordinating with vendor support where needed

  • Creates user accounts, sets access permissions, and removes access as necessary

  • Installs desktop and mobile applications both manually and using automated management tools

  • Performs add, move, and change functions relating to desktop phones and mobile devices

  • Works Help Desk tickets to resolve end user issues, documents work, and gathers information to determine the scope of problems

  • Escalates difficult or unusual issues to Help Desk Team Lead, Network Administrators or management as necessary

  • Evaluates end user requirements and participates in software selection and deployment planning

  • Participates in periodic disaster recovery tests to ensure business continuity

  • Installs IT equipment such as personal computers, printers, switches, and routers

  • Works with end users to troubleshoot application problems, correct service deficiencies, and provide training on IT-provided hardware and services

  • Manages projects such as site moves, working with internal stakeholders and coordinating with external parties such as telecommunications vendors to ensure smooth transitions


  • Two or more years of applicable IT experience

  • Exceptional organizational and communications skills

  • High degree of motivation

  • Working understanding of general network topics ie: IP addressing, routing and switching

  • In-depth knowledge of Windows client operating systems, software installation and general troubleshooting

  • In-depth understanding of Apple iOS mobile devices

  • Ability to prioritize multiple issues based on impact to the organization

  • Must be able to participate in a week long on-call schedule, rotating monthly

  • Occasional travel may be necessary to assist with branch set ups and/or moves

  • Standard Drug screen and Background Checks will be performed.
