IVR QA Analyst/Engineer

The successful candidate for the role of IVR QA Analyst/Engineer will provide services as a resource in JETT’s delivery of contracted services to enterprise-level Fortune 500 customers. LOCAL ATLANTA CANDIDATES ONLY as work to be performed at client office in downtown Atlanta. The resources for this assignment will participate on a team of voice engineers and QA analysts with the objective of verifying and validating numerous IVR scripts.

Position Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on skill and technical experience with projects involving the technical infrastructure components noted above as well as the following:

  • 2 years prior QA testing, error reporting, and analysis (IVR testing preferred)
  • 1-year experience using MS Visio, MS Teams, and other MS software
  • Ability to document errors and changes using various QA documentation toolsets
  • Experience with SoapUI preferred
  • Basic SQL knowledge a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, execute, and manage test plans/test cases across the entire spectrum of quality: exploratory tests, acceptance tests, functional tests, regression tests, smoke tests, usability tests, etc.
  • Perform front and back end testing, including API testing.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements documents and specifications into deliverable test cases/scripts and analyze logs
  • Communicate quality issues and risks to the software development teams and technical leaders
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines on multiple projects, while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Work with the application development team to identify, diagnose, and report on application issues
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply complex technical information to testing situations
  • Investigate, track and prioritize defects
  • Define regression test cases and make suggestions for automation
  • Must possess a willingness and aptitude to embrace new ideas and master concepts rapidly
  • Shows creativity and initiative to improve test quality and effectiveness.
  • Assist with creating and performing repeatable testing procedures and processes
  • Develop manual test cases based on requirements, specifications, user procedures, and/or use cases using industry-standard test tools.
  • Operate with a sense of responsibility, accountability, and ownership to deliver on commitments.
  • Partner with team leads, business analysts, product managers, and developers to understand the product, business requirements, and specifications to help determine the right test strategy.
  • Provide the project team with testing progress and continuous risk assessment during the testing phase.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies and the role of QA in the software development lifecycle.

Functional Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience within IT
  • Prior IT QA testing experience preferred
  • Banking/financial industry experience preferred
  • IVR testing experience preferred
  • Agile/Scrum experience preferred
  • Empirix experience preferred
  • Basic SQL knowledge a plus
  • Excellent prioritization, time management/multi-tasking skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, team player
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Related Work Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in IT
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience with Voice Technologies

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
