CCI Digital Workplace services (DWS) team is simplifying how Cox employees work, engage and collaborate from anywhere using a broad range of technology, initiatives and transformation activities.

This role will drive Digital Workplace transformation leading the development and implementation of a modern workplace strategy & roadmap as it relates to employee productivity transformation, connected experiences, innovation development and proof-of-concept solutions.


Primary Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

The digital workplace solutions enable us to turn productivity, communication, and collaboration technologies into effective business capabilities. The Full Stack Developer will play a central role in the design, development, and delivery of user-facing features and roadmap items for DWS products. The full developer drives the solution development efforts in liaison with the architects, technology leaders, bringing the latest in user experience and productivity solutions to life through demos, Proof-of-Experience and Proof-of-Concept trials, as well as act as the technical incubator for new insights on modern workplace platforms.

The developer is responsible for the implementation of the solution with responsibility for all aspects of solution development. Works with the business to understand and solve complex problems, by presenting various solution options and technical concepts in a comprehensible manner. Creates reliable solution plans that include cost estimates and optimized delivery approaches by working with the business and multi-disciplinary teams.

This individual is highly technical and core to understanding and articulating goals, processes, and challenges that will be addressed with the technical solutions that we implement within the workplace. He/she leads complex projects and ensures the success of application development efforts and roll out. Design and architect scalable, distributed on-prem and cloud-based Services and Applications that integrate across different technologies.

Stays ahead of technology developments in the market and, where appropriate, build emerging and maturing technologies into the technology roadmap including AI, NLP, Graph databases, automation including RPA, ML, Log analytics, API integrations, low code app development platforms etc. At Cox, we are leveraging Microsoft’s digital workplace technology stack, so key to success in this role is staying current on cloud based digital workplace technology trends with a focus and understanding of Microsoft roadmap


Minimum:

  • 8+ years of solid software development experience related to IT delivery, software development – portal/mobile apps, or digital workplace implementation.
  • Working closely with delivery managers, other solution architects, enterprise architects and with business teams to design technology solutions
  • Design and develop user interface and API applications
  • Implement code with attention to detail, visual style and user experience
  • Implement high quality, efficient and robust code
  • Work with project managers to create effective and reliable work estimates
  • Create usable and effective technical documentation
  • Work with backend team members for application integration
  • Identify and suggest opportunities to improve efficiency and functionality
  • Write reusable and testable code
  • Support multiple projects and implement solutions for them
  • Experience employing various Agile techniques (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, etc.) preferred.


Preferred:

  • Experience with digital workplace transformation including low code platforms, ITSM platform like Service now, intelligent contact center services including virtual interaction, chatbots and ML, and automation/IOT technologies to drive user experience.
  • Knowledge of NextThink is helpful.
