Loan Servicing Specialist


Perform all duties and responsibilities associated with servicing loans in the bank’s portfolio.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years payment processing experience in a bank or similar financial institution’s customer call center.
  • Previous collection experience required.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Pay Range: $42K – $47K

Job Location: Atlanta (Sandy Springs/Cumberland area), GA – local candidates only!

Hours: M – F – 8AM – 5PM

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Sort and distribution of incoming mail including stamping check payments with date received
  • Preparation of past due notices and amortized loan statements for mailing to the customers
  • Assist department with stamping outgoing mail and delivering to the outgoing mail bin along with delivery/pickup of intercompany mail /deposits to the bank
  • Scanning and storing documents to the document imaging storage systems
  • Assist clients via phone calls, mail, or e-mail with questions on their accounts, performing debit card or one time ACH payments, Tax and Insurance questions, payoff requests, or any other misc. requests and/or questions
  • Posting daily payments from customers via check, debit card, or ACH transfer
  • Preparation of new loan files for boarding to the loan servicing system
  • Obtaining updated insurance with company mortgagee clause on new loans
  • Complete BSA quarterly training in a timely manner
  • Assist with collection calls as needed.
  • Flexibility in helping out in other areas/departments.
  • Perform all other duties as requested or assigned.
