Role Summary:

We are searching for an energetic Marketing Manager to join Cox Communication’s Non-Customer Acquisition team. In this role, you will be tasked with developing marketing strategies and programs from the ground up and shepherding them through execution with the goal of acquiring new Cox Residential customers. Teamwork is also crucial as this role relies heavily on working with diverse interdepartmental teams in a highly matrixed environment.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Leads high-profile omnichannel programs from conception to completion including project kickoff with all stakeholders and boundary partners, project management, regular performance readouts, program optimization, etc.
  • Leverages consumer insights and performance data to develop and/or adjust integrated acquisition marketing programs and strategies.
  • Assists with the creation of Go to Market (GTM) period campaign strategy briefs and process management.
  • Engages with Boundary Partners to gather consumer insights, industry trends, competitive strategy, new product development and roadmaps, pricing and packaging strategies on a regular basis to proactively inform acquisition strategies.
  • Assists with digital and social marketing strategy, including development and management of digital campaigns and integration of programs for an omnichannel approach and seamless customer purchasing experience.
  • Assists Specialist as needed in managing the Non-Customer Targeted Strategy Document (TSD) that informs media placement/tactics/message weighting and prioritization for boundary partners
  • Engage sales partners for feedback on new customer acquisition activity. Ensure training has strategic insight to campaign strategy and is accurately communicating this position within training documents.
  • Leads Radio Adlib process, a quick-turn awareness tactic used for timely and relevant


  • BS/BA degree in related discipline (Marketing, Communications, etc.)
  • 7 or more years of experience required in related field (Marketing, Communications, etc.)
  • 2 or more years of digital marketing experience
  • 2 years project management experience, preferably with omni-channel marketing programs (including digital)
  • Experience developing, leading and executing 360 degree marketing campaigns
  • Requires strong knowledge of applications such Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Self-starter
  • Interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative skills to to work effectively with cross-functional/highly matrixed teams


  • MBA degree preferred
  • Experience in telecommunications industry
