We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Associate and Packing and Shipping Lead to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for all shipping and receiving within the warehouse including but not limited to; small parcels, freight, and white glove shipping. There will be a large aspect of customer service where you will need to communicate with clients and customers in a professional manner via email, phone and in-person. As a small business, you will be expected to be flexible in wearing more than one hat on the day to day which includes moving large and fragile furniture pieces throughout the warehouse, assisting with prop rentals, and working on creative projects independently.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Print daily packing slips and cross-check with computer software to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs, affix proper postage / packing slips to packages or units for shipping
  • Assemble and fill boxes for fragile items or build crates for large pieces
  • Contact customers via email and by phone to ensure there is initial communication made and customers are aware of ship times. Send customers tracking numbers and updates on delays, if any
  • Track packages and shipments while in transit to ensure accurate ship time
  • Create and maintain relations with white glove shipping services
  • Review all selling platforms daily, answer related questions or messages, gather all sold items into the front of the building, assess each item
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Re-stock packing supplies as needed and make necessary purchases
  • Assist in team moving of antique furniture up to 250lbs and be able to move furniture items and boxes up to 50lbs independently throughout the building
  • Ability to stand, bend, and move for the majority of the work day. Climb ladders and operate the JLG Lift safely. Ability to use basic power tools correctly
  • Various creative and maintenance type projects will be assigned accordingly
  • Other Duties as assigned


  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • 1+ years’ experience in retail and customer service
  • 1+ years’ experience in shipping and receiving
  • Experience in Art and Design or the Film Industry a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
  • Capable of working a consistent part-time schedule with flexibility to be full time on a regular Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm schedule
  • Lift components with weight of up to 50 lbs, and to know when a Team Lift is needed for heavier, or cumbersome objects

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
