Packaging Associate

Covington, GA

As a Packer, you will provide support for the operation team by working safely to feed material into machines, inspect product for defects and pack finished goods in correct configuration. It will be incumbent jupon you to notify the Supervisor of quality issues as they arise. You will make minor machine adjustments to minimize interruptions and ensure quality product, as well as maintain good housekeeping practices. Importantly, you will be able to work safely in a fast-paced environment. You will also complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner and complete basic mathematical calculations as needed.

About You

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ months of any packaging experience (industrial manufacturing experience preferred)
  • Good communication skills—written and verbal
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Ability to use tools as required
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others as part of a team (essential)
