Southwest Airlines plans to furlough 81 employees at the Atlanta airport in January as part of a nationwide furlough as talks with its unions over cost reductions have stalled. Southwest (NYSE: LUV) plans to furlough 76 technicians and one inspector at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, according to a notice filed with the Georgia Department of Labor. Atlanta Hawks to only host friends, family to open season

The Atlanta Hawks are the latest NBA team to reduce capacity ahead of the 2020-2021 season. The Hawks said on Tuesday that only friends and family will be allowed entry for the first few games of the season, which begins on Dec. 22, before hosting a limited number of fans for the game on Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 18.
