The Job

This position will provide paralegal support to the Digital Rights Management team as it prepares Rights Logic for the support of rights validation for HBO Max and various Turner networks.

The Daily

  • Contract analysis and data entry for licensed TBS, TNT, and truTV acquired series and films
  • Support attorney, network programmers and technical team during “go live” of TBS and TNT integration with the Radius programming system
  • Support TCM programmers with monthly VOD clearances
  • Vet monthly TCM linear schedule for films that need to be blacked out from digital linear feeds (for virtual MVPDs and TCM app) due to rights limitations
  • Contract analysis and data entry for top level and underlying rights, including music rights, for original HBO Max, CN, AS, TBS, TNT and truTV programs
  • Support attorney in collecting and researching rights information for Turner and HBO Max content to be shared with Warner Bros. rights management team

The Essentials

  • Four-year college degree with a minimum of three years’ paralegal experience at a reputable law firm or company
  • Excellent research, analytical and communication skills required
  • Experience with complex databases or database software applications preferred
