Atlanta personal injury, and premises liability law firm seeks a part-time personal injury litigation paralegal/legal assistant, with option to become full-time, if mutually desired. Work hours are 25 – 30 hours a week, Monday – Friday. Must have at least 3 years of personal injury litigation experience; knowledge of CasePeer, law practice management software; and preferably a bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate.

This position is presently a remote position, due to the pandemic, but will ultimately work on location in the office.

Pay is $15 -$19 per hour, plus bonus opportunities.


  • 3 years experience as a personal injury litigation paralegal
  • Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, GA Civil Procedure, local rules, court rules and procedures, practices, etc.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws in the areas of personal injury claims, motor vehicle accidents, and insurance
  • Familiarity with e-filing
  • Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office and legal software, preferably CasePeer
  • Knowledge of medical terms
  • Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
  • Excellent people skills
  • Paralegal associates degree or other relevant certification


  • Answer telephones
  • Draft letters, and emails
  • Input documentation into CasePeer
  • Maintain communication with clients, experts, doctors, etc.
  • Drafting correspondences, motions, discovery, and/or pleadings
  • Litigation intake
  • Assist attorneys with propounding & responding to discovery, and other discovery requests
  • Assist attorney with organization and preparing for depositions, mediations, arbitrations and trials
  • Compiling organizing, redacting, and labeling documents for production
  • Communicating with clients
  • Requesting and reviewing medical records
  • Creating medical chronologies
  • Proofreading
  • Drafting and preparing settlement disbursements
  • Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research and initial case assessments
  • Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, communication with other law firms (attorneys/staff), etc.)
  • Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
  • Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices
  • Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
  • Creating Trial Notebooks and Mediation/arbitration notebooks
