Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Service Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This full time position is located in Atlanta, GA. The qualified candidate will support dissemination of vital public health information from a large organization within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Leads and directs one or more project teams engaged in the design, implementation and modification of IT projects that span across functional organizations. Prepares project execution plan and identifies appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team. Ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meets technical requirements of the assignment. Keeps current on advances in the field of IT. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership, management, direction, or development and advocacy so the organization may effectively conduct information security work.
  • Applies knowledge of data, information, processes, organizational interactions, skills, and analytical expertise, as well as systems, networks, and information exchange capabilities to manage acquisition programs.
  • Executes duties governing hardware, software, and information system acquisition programs and other program management policies.
  • Provides direct support for acquisitions that use information technology (IT) (including National Security Systems), applying IT-related laws and policies, and provides IT-related guidance throughout the total acquisition life cycle.
  • Leads, coordinates, communicates, integrates, and is accountable for the overall success of the program, ensuring alignment with agency or enterprise priorities.
  • Oversees and assigns known routine service requests to staff for completion.
  • Raises complex jobs or issues to Operations Manager.
  • Coordinates collaboration amongst staff with diverse skillsets to achieve issue resolution.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • Experience in Hybrid Cloud Services, Application, System and Network Virtualization, Enterprise Shared Services, Enterprise Transparent Encryption, Federation Services, Data Warehousing.
  • Demonstrated experience in translating technical content into formats written in plain language and easy to understand.
  • IT Project Management experience.
  • Strong problem solving skills along with outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong skill and ability to organize data and information clearly and present to the client.
  • Ability to recommend new and innovative ideas to foster strategic objectives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mid-level resource with B.S/M.S. or equivalent, 4-7 years specialized experience, proficient in multiple technologies
  • Experience in complex IT Projects: Hybrid Cloud, Data Warehousing, networking
  • Experience working in an Agile Team
  • Working knowledge of JIRA or TFS
  • Security certification a plus
  • Previous experience with CDC
