We serve a variety of markets including independent Opticians, Optometrists, Ophthalmologists, small to larger regional & national optical chains, as well as optical wholesale & industrial production facilities.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, we are looking for a “hunter” who is motivated, has an entrepreneurial drive and is technically savvy. The ideal candidate will be experienced in selling and/or servicing optical equipment or is an optical professional who is looking for a career change. Your client base will be optical stores in the Northwest Region selling lens finishing equipment to ophthalmic professionals.

The territory includes: No. Georgia, W. North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky & No. Alabama

This is an exciting role and exceptional career opportunity if you have superior customer contact skills and proven sales experience – preferably capital equipment. Optical industry experience (selling to ophthalmologists, optometrist, and opticians) is a major plus. The successful candidate will have exceptional presentation and communication skills, the ability to organize, plan, report effectively, and master all aspects of our solutions and products.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Travel throughout assigned territory
  • Display and demonstrate product
  • Perform installation of equipment and service & troubleshoot as needed
  • Utilize CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365) to manage and track leads through sales cycle
  • Train customers on use of product at customer site
  • Represent Company at trade shows
  • Attend the annual sales meeting and all other company seminars
  • Establish and maintain an in-home office

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a valid driver’s license & personal automobile (we will provide a car allowance)
  • Must have a personal credit and we reimburse all business-related expenses on a weekly basis
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. (Will be required to demo and install equipment)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & CRM
