Title: Senior Integration Software Developer

Location: Cincinnati, OH or Atlanta, GA

Status: Contractor

The Senior Integration Software Developer should have proven skills in integration tool and ETL development. This individual will play an integral role in developing quality integration software connecting PatientPoint’s (PPT) Enterprise Applications and supporting PatientPoint’s integration middleware. He or she will work closely with our Enterprise Architecture Center of Excellence (EA COE), implementing repeatable patterns to enable integrated Enterprise Applications that support scalability, resiliency, efficient data flow, and rapid innovation.

In this important role you will work within a team in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality solutions using industry standard Integration Platforms. Candidate will demonstrate a clear understanding of designing solutions to meet customer demands and be willing to take ownership of problems and work with team members to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

The Senior Integration Software Developer is a full-time role located in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position. Paid relocation is not available. Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with PPT’s EA COE to understand, shape and implement our Technology Strategy to support PPT’s Business Strategy
    • Translate business requirements into integration solutions to achieve functional and non-functional requirements
    • Use common integration patterns and techniques to develop solutions that automate the flow of data to many downstream applications
    • Follow best practices and procedures in the development and integration of applications
    • Ensure the integration designs are compliant with PPT’s EA COE standards and will meet the future needs of data volume, SLA’s and any complex exception handling driven by the business and compliance needs
    • Understand PPT’s Enterprise Applications, particularly our Salesforce.com implementation, to execute on the integration development roadmap
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools, middleware technologies, and application and data integration patterns including ESB, MOM, JMS, SOAP/REST web services, databases, ETL
  • Hands on development, deployment and maintenance of integration processes between applications across cloud and/or on premise using Dell Boomi AtomSphere platform (Cloud Integration, Application Integration and Enterprise web services APIs)
  • Create interface technical design, corresponding development build, create unit test scenarios, and test data and conduct unit tests. Prepare unit test report and coordinate with client integration leadership
  • Strong development background with
    • Web services and standard communication or messaging protocols in general (SOAP, WSDL, REST, XML-RPC, JMS, Ajax)
    • Transformation and integration technologies and standards (XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath)
  • Knowledge of Dell Boomi Design Best practices, Error Handling Mechanism, Dell Boomi Architecture.
  • Knowledge of Dell Boomi Monitoring and Application, Atom and Molecule Administration
  • Managing, Monitoring, Sustaining, Troubleshooting and supporting EAI Integrations, SOA Architecture and Dell Boomi AtomSphere platform.
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • Familiarity with SQL/MS SQL and PL/SQL development for the Oracle database, and ability to create ad hoc SQL queries and scripts
  • Analyze, design, develop, test, deploy, support, and fine-tune Boomi Integrations
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with Boomi and other Production integrations
  • Participate in technical design sessions and develop detailed technical solution documentation that is aligned with business objectives
  • Develop, test, and document integration, custom development, and data migration solutions for business applications in the CRM, ERP, data warehouse domains
  • Assist with data architecture, data conversion and system performance improvement
  • Work with delivery teams to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features
  • Write clean, scalable, and testable integrations
  • Work with cross-functional teams including Business Analysis, Architects, Infrastructure, BI, Software Developers, and QA Engineers to ensure development activities are aligned with scope, schedule, priority, and business objectives and to resolve technical dependencies, issues and risks
  • Evaluate and stay current with evolving implementation methodologies

EDUCATION DESIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Boomi Professional Developer certification required
  • Boomi Professional Architect certification preferred
  • Boomi certifications, such as: Master Data Hub, API Management, Administration or Dell Boomi Atmosphere Certifications (Level I and II) preferred

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 7+ years experience in work-related integration and .Net software development, developing resilient, well optimized, and secure integration code that adhere to best practices, in real time, near real time and asynchronous manners, to foster innovation and speed to market
  • 3+ years Dell Boomi experience – In depth knowledge of Dell Boomi Atmosphere platform and hands experience in integrating both Cloud and On-Prem solutions such as Salesforce, Azure, PL/SQL, Oracle and other custom database applications.
  • Expertise in Boomi Process Building, Alert Framework, Exception handling, Process Forking, Multi Threading, Multi Processing , synchronous web services , asynchronous processing Queuing and Connectors/ListenersOracle PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Developer experience
  • ETL, Process Automation development experience. Robotic Process Automation experience a plus
  • Experience with understanding business processes and design and implementing integrations between systems using latest and emerging technologies such as SaaS Applications, APIs, IoT Platforms
  • An awareness of integration design and data integration patterns and approaches (APIs, Microservices, Pub/Sub, Batch, Streaming, etc.)
  • Experience integrating applications with Salesforce.com and working knowledge of Salesforce’s platform capabilities, hosting infrastructure, security and integration capabilities
  • Understanding of Salesforce.com Apex/force.com development is a plus

  • Proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as Visio

  • Experience working in Scrum/Agile software development organization
  • Should have worked in cloud, hybrid and on-premise integration landscapes
  • Strong skills in data profiling, de-duplication and cleansing
  • Familiarity with data privacy, security and compliance requirements for the Cloud Experience working in healthcare IT is preferred
