Northrop Grumman is seeking a SharePoint Developer SME to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This full time position is located in Atlanta, GA. The qualified candidate will support dissemination of vital public health information from a large organization within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Builds and codes applications and/or modules using languages such as C++, visual basic, ABAP, JAVA, XTML, etc. Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems. May design graphical user interface (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users. Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. May build add-on modules using application program language.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualizes designs, procures, and/or builds secure information technology (IT) systems, with responsibility for aspects of system and/or network development.
  • Develops system concepts and works on the capabilities phases of the systems development life cycle; translates technology and environmental conditions (e.g., law and regulation) into system and security designs and processes.
  • Develops and maintains business, systems, and information processes to support enterprise mission needs; develops information technology (IT) rules, and requirements that describe baseline and target architectures.
  • Utilizes expertise on specific technologies and applies the principles of software engineering to the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of computer software.
  • Make use of specific technologies to further enterprise goals.
