Job Summary

Balfour Beatty Infrastructure in Atlanta, GA are currently seeking a Sr HR Administrator to join the team. The Sr HR Administrator will provide clerical and administrative support to the Civils Human Resources department and to other departments as directed.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide HR administrative and transactional support and serve as initial point of contact for HR related inquiries.
  • Provide Checks and Balances for New-Hire Documents, and Miscellaneous Change Forms, forwarding direction to Payroll for additions/changes.
  • Perform background checks for all company Staff hires.
  • Maintain department email/inbox and review all incoming personnel requests in accordance with company policies/procedures.
  • Manage HR recordkeeping and retention process related to employee information.
  • Compiles data and provide various scheduled and ad-hoc reports as directed by HR Director and HR Generalist.
  • Manage scheduled and ad-hoc reporting for random drug testing program and compensation
  • Assist with the execution of HR compliance initiatives (mandatory EEO reports, Affirmative Action Plans).
  • Facilitate and manage the Civils Service Award program.
  • Assists with verification of employment requests for employees.
  • Manage billing of third-party HR vendors and department expenses.
  • Provide guidance and serve as a liaison for employees for training and performance reviews.
  • Create and revise HR training documents for project support representatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by HR Generalist and Director, Human Resources.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all employee-related matters and information.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR Administrative/HRIS experience required.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, JDE and Reports Now.
  • Bachelor s degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties in accordance with departmental and organizational needs and level of urgency.
  • An energetic, highly ethical individual who consistently demonstrates a team player attitude.
  • Detailed and solution oriented individual who is able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
