General Purpose: Responsible for central warehouse Supply-chain operations.
Ensures proper warehouse operation, assembly and manufacturing KANBAN feeding, packaging item production, KARDEX operation, MEZZANINE operation, domestic/export sales order operation, Government/LE(law enforcement) project and shipping/receiving operation.

This position is critical role of the Supply Chain Logistics department providing state-of-art SCM in a fast-pace and growing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
1. Assembly KANBAN operation

  • Hourly check ASM SKD monitor for KANBAN feeding(KPI)
  • Supervise/Train SKD feeder
  • Coordinate with Assembly supervisor, lead and ICS to ensure JIT feeding
  • Coordinate with Materials supervisor to investigate and fix inventory discrepancy

2. Manufacturing KANBAN operation

  • Hourly check MFG e-mail request for feed raw material /pick-up finished goods from MFG PL and MFG ST depts.(KPI)
  • Supervise/Train MFG feeder
  • Coordinate with MFG supervisor and lead to ensure JIT delivery and pick-up
  • Coordinate with SCL EXT1 supervisor to move overflow inventory
  • Coordinate with MFG supervisor to support MFG export order
  • Coordinate with MAINT manager to ensure JIT delivery machines/parts
  • Coordinate with Materials supervisor to investigate and fix inventory discrepancy

3. Packaging production

  • Daily assign packaging production to meet daily production target(KPI)
  • Closely monitor/ensure finished goods ship out on-time
  • Supervise/Train packaging team members
  • Coordinate with Planning to receive production order and sales order daily
  • Coordinate with Planning and Materials supervisor to investigate and fix inventory discrepancy
  • Coordinate with MAINT to address machine issue
  • Coordinate with MKT for new product release and design

4. KARDEX operation

  • Daily check KARDEX order for ASM flow rack feeding(KPI)
  • Daily check KARDEX sales order(domestic, export and Gov’t/LE)(KPI)
  • Supervise/Train KAR material handler
  • Coordinate with Assembly supervisor, lead and ICS to ensure ASM replenishment
  • Coordinate with Materials supervisor to investigate and fix inventory discrepancy

o (AX vs GPP)

  • Weekly check Sales Order reserved inventory in KARDEX location

5. MEZZANINE operation

  • Daily assign pistol order pulling to meet daily target(KPI)
  • Supervise/Train Mezzanine order puller
  • Coordinate with Planning to receive sales order
  • Coordinate with Warranty, T&E and MKT to pull special project order
  • Coordinate with Materials supervisor to investigate and fix inventory discrepancy

6. Sales Order pick/pack/ship operation

  • Daily assign domestic order to meet daily target(KPI)
  • Responsible for continuous improvement on pick-pack-inspect-ship process
  • Supervise/Train order picker(magazine), MPI and shipper
  • Coordinate with CSM/Credit to solve order discrepancy and expedite order
  • Coordinate with Export to ensure all export order pulled and screened correctly
  • Coordinate with Materials supervisor to investigate and fix inventory discrepancy

7. Gov’t/LE/Export Project

  • Assign/supervise/train TMs for Gov’t/LE/Export project order
  • Supervise/Train order picker, MPI, shipper and export TM
  • Own from check from initiating to shipping(A to Z)
  • Coordinate with Export to ensure all export order pulled and screened correctly
  • Coordinate with Law Sales to ensure all orders pull correctly and ship on-time(KPI)
  • Coordinate with Planning to receive/update order picking list
  • Coordinate with Shipping to complete and ship the order
  • Coordinate with Materials supervisor to investigate and fix inventory discrepancy

8. Shipping/Receiving operation

  • Receiving: ensure/monitor weekly AUT shpt.
  • Receiving: ensure/monitor pistols are receiving correctly
  • Receiving: ensure/monitor all internal customers’ order receives on-time
  • Shipping: ensure/monitor all the orders ship out on-time
  • Supervise/Train receiving and shipping TM
  • Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure every inventory receives on-time with correct amount
  • Coordinate with Materials supervisor to investigate and fix inventory discrepancy

9. Central warehouse operation

  • 5S: Makes sure Central Warehouse is kept in a clean and safe manner
  • Making sure that all power equipment in the warehouse is turned off at the end of the day
  • Takes precaution to protect warehouse content against loss
  • Making sure that report shift attendance to Supply Chain Logistics Manager daily
  • Making sure that warehouse operation follows GLOCK safety standard
  • Making sure that all the scrap/return(Ex/ barrel chip) process follow right procedure
  • Coordinate with T&E to feed ammunition on-time
  • Making sure that all internal customers need is fulfilled before shift ends

10. General Responsibility

  • Ensures that all problems are properly reported to Supply Chain Logistics Manager
  • Participate in projects under Supply Chain Logistics Manager as needed
  • Support/pass along communication between Team Members and Supply Chain Logistics Manager
  • Work with all other departments to support business objectives
  • LEAN: Supports all LEAN activities in the Supply Chain Logistics, especially the sustainable execution and implementation of 5S principles (order and cleanliness) and continuous process improvements (stable processes) based on KAIZEN principles to achieve highest quality standards
  • Ensures compliance with legal and company ordinances in his/her areas of responsibility
  • Ensures compliance to ISO-, OSHA- and Environmental Protection regulatory and ensures highest safety standards in his/her area of responsibility
  • Keeps his/her standard of knowledge up-to-date in his/her area of responsibility through continuing education measures
  • Responsible for hiring, evaluation and termination TM; as well as determine shifts, if applicable

Education and/or Experience:

  • Strongly preferred: bachelor’s degree in business major such as management, operations, supply chain and logistics
