Northrop Grumman is seeking a System Security Automation Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This full time position is located in Atlanta, GA. The qualified candidate will support dissemination of vital public health information from a large organization within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

  • Provides the support, administration, and maintenance necessary to ensure effective and efficient information technology (IT) system performance and security.
  • Studies an organization’s current computer systems and procedures, and designs information systems solutions to help the organization operate more securely, efficiently, and effectively.
  • Brings business and information technology (IT) together by understanding the needs and limitations of both.
  • Responsible for the analysis and development of the integration, testing, operations, and maintenance of systems security.
  • Govern and oversee internal and external audits and self-identified findings, ensure on-time remediation; Govern and operate server anti-malware, and security patches.
