Responsibilities:

The Talent Acquisition Manager plays a critical role in developing and executing proactive strategies to meet the recruitment and talent needs for the business. The Talent Acquisition Manager will continue to find ways to innovate and streamline the hiring experience by leveraging technology, analyzing data and metrics, and staying abreast of industry trends.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

MD/OD Recruiting

  • Creates internal provider recruiting playbook to maximize efficiencies and leverage top talent.
  • Builds internal provider database for passive and active candidates in all markets and specialties.
  • Ensures prospective provider candidates are well supported throughout the application and hiring process.
  • Publishes ads, creates lists of targeted candidates to send mailing or email campaigns to, as well as networking with program directors and other external sources used for provider recruitment.
  • Coordinates all phone interviews and in-person interviews with candidates and internal teams to include, but not limited to: travel arrangements, hotel accommodations, local transportation, meeting agendas, and local coordination for candidates’ spouse/children, as needed.
  • Collaborates with the marketing department on the development of affiliate recruiting collateral.
  • Establishes and fosters relationships with appropriate universities and associations (residency, fellowship programs, and industry associations).
  • Tracks and manages status of all provider recruitment efforts and provides updates to leadership weekly.
  • Manages contracts and relationships with all third-party recruiting firms.
  • In conjunction with legal and internal teams, manages the offer and contract negotiation process for all provider candidates.
  • Monitors the onboarding process for provider candidates and ensures all internal departments are aligned to prevent any delays or bottlenecks.
  • Understands provider contracts and provider compensation model.
  • Partners with HR and Operations team to understand future provider forecasting (organic growth, retiring providers, etc.).

Corporate Recruiting

  • Coordinates with hiring managers to post corporate openings based upon budget timing and backfill requirements.
  • Serves as full scope recruiter: job posting management, resume review, pre-screening, preliminary interviews, escalates top candidates to hiring managers, etc.
  • Applies behavioral based interview techniques to screen applicants to determine possible job candidates.
  • Creates and maintains behavioral interview guides for all positions; trains leadership as needed.

Companywide Talent Acquisition Oversight

  • Translates business needs to actionable recruiting strategies, consults with hiring leaders, and oversees overall recruiting programs and processes to deliver the best possible Talent Acquisition experience.
  • Analyzes and evaluates metrics, sourcing and recruiting performance data on a monthly basis (physician, corporate and field recruiting) and communicates accordingly to internal business partners (role requirements aging, hiring rate, cost per hire, candidate quality, etc.).
  • Manages and tracks all internal and external recruiting costs to monitor cost per hire.
  • Shapes the DNA of the organization with increased diverse and versatile top talent.
  • Leads and develops relationships with universities and niche/diversity conferences to leverage top talent.
  • Provides strategic recruiting expertise to the business and team by staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, legal and compliance changes, technology advancements and benchmark comparisons; functions as a subject matter expert on all recruitment activities.
  • Actively manages relationships with supplemental vendors (LinkedIn, Indeed, external recruiters, and agencies, where applicable).
  • Hosts quarterly business reviews with business leaders.
  • Ensures team is following standard recruiting processes (recruiting metrics, compliance and record-keeping requirements).
  • Monitors activity within the applicant tracking system to ensure workflows are effective for the recruiting process (postings, dispositions, etc.).
  • Leads and implements changes to the applicant tracking system as needed to maximize efficiencies in the recruiting process.
  • Promotes both EyeSouth and affiliated brands to candidates and external service providers
  • Partners and collaborates with HR/Ops counterparts on talent forecasting across the business.
  • Maintains confidentiality for highly sensitive data.
  • Contributes to the team effort by completing additional tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Social Sciences, or related field required.
  • 3+ years of Physician or Executive level recruitment experience required.
  • 3+ years of applicant tracking system (ATS) optimization experience required; iCIMS preferred.
  • Multi-specialty provider recruitment experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential data required.
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
  • Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
  • Team player that develops strong collaborative working relationships with internal partners and can effectively engage and ability to build consensus among cross-functional teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
