Talent Lifecycle Process Manager

Preferred Work Location: Indianapolis, IN; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; St. Louis, MO; Mason, OH; Louisville, KY; Richmond, VA; Norfolk, VA

The Talent Lifecycle Process Manager will build integrated talent/development processes and solutions to help assess, identify, engage, develop, and grow our talent to deliver value and organizational growth. Maintains an ever-evolving proactive view to support the evolving needs of our business and to create a great associate experience.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Consult and collaborate with Anthem business leadership, HR Business Partners and Centers of Expertise to:

  • Assist Talent Management Thought Leaders/ Process Owners in creating training, job aids, and supporting tools to support Talent Directors, HRBPs, business leaders, and associates in effective talent management process implementation and to ensure the intended outcomes of all of our talent processes are met.
  • Maintains key metrics to track effectiveness of one-two talent lifecycle processes in the talent management portfolio.
  • Track milestones required to achieve both our short and long-term priorities within one-two talent lifecycle processes; Shares updates against milestones with Initiative Project Leader.
  • Play a role in the implementation of technology enhancements to better enable our talent processes; Take part in user testing as needed to enable process implementation.
  • Expertise in broad spectrum of talent processes/practices/tools.
  • Stays up to date on talent trends across the competitive, external market (healthcare industry knowledge preferred).
  • Unrelenting focus on creating a great associate/user experience.
  • Builds relationships across functional boundaries-trusted partner and collaborator.

  • Requires a BA/BS degree; 5-8 years or more of relevant work experience, including HR experience, business partner with data, analysis, trends and reports; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • 3-5 years of experience in talent management process/ training/ tool design
  • 3-5 years of experience successfully partnering/ consulting with clients, strategic HR Business Partners and Centers of Expertise on the implementation of end to end talent practices.
  • Expertise as a supporting specialist or generalist in performance management, leadership models, assessments, coaching, career pathing, succession, and/or executive development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success at leveraging contemporary HR models and technologies.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills required and skills in interpreting data/ summarizing key insights/ messages for a variety of audiences.
  • Supporting Assessments, industrial/ organizational psychology background is preferred.
