Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cloud Architect /Senior Developer (Technology Integration Engineer) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This full time position is located in Atlanta, GA. The qualified candidate will support dissemination of vital public health information from a large organization within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualizes designs, procures, and/or builds secure information technology (IT) systems, with responsibility for aspects of system and/or network development.
  • Develops system concepts and works on the capabilities phases of the systems development life cycle; translates technology and environmental conditions (e.g., law and regulation) into system and security designs and processes.
  • Develops and maintains business, systems, and information processes to support enterprise mission needs; develops information technology (IT) rules, and requirements that describe baseline and target architectures.
  • Specializes in bringing together component subsystems into a whole, and ensuring that those subsystems function together and Integrates technological solutions to meet mission needs. These skills are likely to include software, systems and enterprise architecture, software and hardware engineering, and interface protocols.
