Update: Sandy Springs adopts home alcohol delivery

Sandy Springs residents now can order beer, wine and liquor to be delivered to their door. Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul on Nov. 18 signed an ordinance that allows for home alcohol delivery by “authorized package retailers,” a spokesperson for the city confirmed to Atlanta Business Chronicle. The Sandy Springs City Council during its meeting on Nov. 17 approved the ordinance, which also extends hours for Sunday alcohol sales by 30 minutes. The ordinance takes effect immediately.
